GRC Policies

Medical Emergencies

Patients with serious medical emergencies should go to the nearest Emergency Department. GRC is not equipped to handle medical emergencies.

Hours of Operation:

GRC is open from Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. All Calls received before 3 pm are answered the same day, and any calls received after 3 pm may be returned the next business day.

Appointments:

If you are a new patient or establish patient looking to schedule an appointment with any of the providers, please call (817) 416-7695 within office hours Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. You’ll receive a call day prior to your scheduled time for appointment confirmation and reminder.

Always Arrive 15-30 Minutes Early.

When you schedule an office visit with us, we expect you to arrive at our practice 15-30 minutes prior to your scheduled visit. This allows time for you and our staff to address any insurance or billing questions and or to complete any necessary paperwork before the scheduled visit. For all new patients, it is expected to reach 30 mins prior to your appointment time. If a patient is more than 15 minutes late to their appointment, the appointment may be canceled and need to be rescheduled.

Appointment Confirmation:

GRC will call and confirm the appointment by Telephone a week before your appointment date to remind the date and time of your appointment to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and cancellations.

Prescription Refills:

Please contact your pharmacy to request a refill as this is the fastest and most efficient method for you to obtain a medication refill or call GRC at (817) 416-7695 for prescription refills if your pharmacy is unable to complete your request. GRC will attempt all refill requests within 24hrs-72hrs. Please call to schedule an appointment if you are not seen within the past 6 months.

Insurance

You must provide us your current and complete insurance information. We will regularly request copies of your insurance card(s). A member of our team will schedule your treatment as soon as insurance authorization is obtained. There can be up to a 7-day waiting period.

Payments & Account Balances.

Regardless of the type of insurance coverage, patients are ultimately responsible for paying their medical bills. GRC will file a claim on the patient’s behalf and seek payment from the insurance company, if the claim is rejected or denied we will look to the patient for payment. Deductibles, Co-payments, Co-insurances are expected at the time of service. We will require that patients do pay their account balances to zero (0) prior to receiving further services by our practice. We accept cash, personal checks, VISA, and MasterCard.

Age Restrictions:

GRC does not accept patients under the age of 18.

No Show Policy

If a patient does cancel on the day of their appointment or does not show up for a scheduled appointment, the patient will be charged a no-show fee of $50. Patients must provide at least 24 hours advanced notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. A patient is notified of the appointment “No-Show, Late, & Cancellation Policy” at the time of scheduling.

COVID19 Policies:

If you have a COVID-19 symptoms or COVID-19 test pending, please do not come to clinic. Please have your mask on prior to entering the office. We also request that anyone who comes with you wait in the car during your appointment
